project_description

Counselling and Student Development has some “Sun Stations” (https://www.bcit.ca/files/counselling/pdf/secure_webcontent_sun_stations.pdf) at various locations on several of the BCIT campuses, and we’d like to know how often each is being used (e.g., a count of how many times the switch has been turned on) and the total time each has been used (e.g., the total time the switch has been on). We’d preferably also need a way of zeroing the measures each time they’re read. We'd like the student (or students) on this project to put the specifications together, research and recommend the measuring devices, install the devices, and train us in how to read and reset the devices.
